PowerMax Long Range Collar

The longest range tracking collar for Hounds, available anywhere, this  collar runs for months of normal use on common AA batteries. This means you can get your batteries almost anywhere and they don't cost $8 to $12 each! Collars run for over 700 hours on new set of batteries.

A small LED flashes green during normal use, and switches to red to warn you when only 5 days of life are left. You'll never again have a collar quit on you with your dog out in the woods, because you didn't know the batteries were almost dead.

Machined casing with tripled sealed waterproof construction for years of heavy use. The magnetic switch does not need the magnet strapped to the collar, but only requires a tap to turn on and a tap to turn off.

Best of all, the PowerMax is availible in any frequency you need from in 150.005-155.995, 173.005-.995, and 216.005 to 219.995!

TOUGHEST CASE DESIGNThe case on the PowerMax Hound Collar is machined from a very hard aluminum alloy, not plastic. Therefor it cannot be cut or crushed like plastic. We start with a solid block of aircraft aluminum alloy and with several operations, work it into a precision piece of smooth sculpture that hugs the dog's neck with a curved design, unique to Marshall collars.

In one instance, an F350 pickup was driven over the collar with no damage, other than a slight rock mark on the side.

COMMON, EASY TO FIND AA BATTERIESIn the tracking collar market, every design seems to use specialized batteries in order to get the power needed for long range. While there's a good reason to design around some of these energy-dense batteries, there's also a downside: they are expensive and can be hard to find when you need them.

Our engineers found a way to get even longer range while still using common AA batteries. This means that you could drop in to any Convenience Store on your way out of town, or even a Wal Mart at three am, and find new batteries when you need them.

It also means that these collars are the least expensive to operate. In just a short time, you may save enough in battery expense to buy a second collar.

SAFETY LIGHTS

There are two great reasons behind having the high-intesity safety lights in your collar:

1)To be able to see what your dog is doing in the dark when you are within close range. Being able to see his movements, and direction changes, is a valuable thing with a young dog still in training.

2)As a protection out on a highway or County Road in the dark. Many customers have already proven that the Safety Lights have caused vehicles to slow down and brake for their dogs when they were nearby or crossing the road.

LOW BATTERY SENSOR

Never again will you lose a dog due to having the batteries go dead while out on a long hunt. The PowerMax collar keeps track of the battery voltage and warns you two ways (with a double beep on the tracking box and a red light blinking on the collar) so you'll always know when it's time to change out the batteries. When you hear the collar go into double-beep mode, you still have about five days of tracking time left so there is always that margin of safety every time you turn loose.

USER-CHANGEABLE ANTENNA

The anttenna has been carefully designed to require no special tools so that with a pair of snips, you can easily change out the antenna by hand with a new one. There is no need to send the collar back to the factory to have this done.

COMPLETELY WATERPROOF

The PowerMax collar is triple-sealed so you can use it with confidence when you hunt around around swamps, lakes or creeks. The battery compartment is sealed, and all the elcetronics are completely sealed.

LONGEST WARRANTY

Your new PowerMax collar is backed by a Three-Year Warranty. If anything goes wrong with it, simply return it to us and we will qucikly repair or replace it.

TREE HOUNDS

The Treed switch is designed to let you know when your dog is up vertical, and is not confused by hills. This collar design can take the ongoing heavy use and abuse that tears up most every other collar out there.

The PowerMax collar is much smaller than regular Hound collars, weighing only 5 oz with lithium batteries, yet still gives big performance.

TRACKING HOUNDS LONG DISTANCES

Designed as the longest range Hound collar you can buy, the PowerMax collar reaches out in hill country and through swamps better than any other tracking collar on the market.

Where Houndsmen have a GPS collar, the Powermax is used by many as their "backup" collar as insurance for them when their dog gets out of range. They also prove the best insurance when Hunters have to turn off their GPS receiver during a Nite Hunt Competition, and the dogs get out of range so that when they turn back on and have only a question mark on the screen, they can still have their "beep-beep collar" tell them which way to go.

EXTREME RECOVERY PROTECTION

The PowerMax collar has saved dogs in the most extreme situations where a weak collar or a GPS collar would be the same as lost. One customer had his hound enter an unexpected small cave in an open field, follow a coon underground and get stuck for two days. However, he had a signal pointing straight down about 200 yards from the entrance, and hired a well driller who punched through 17 feet of rock to find the dog and save him.

SAFETY DURING NIGHT HUNTS

Using the high-intensity safety lights certainly lets you see what the dog is doing, but having bright lights on the collar has already saved a large number of dogs out on remote highways at night.
